'BRAVE SOULDIER' is a painting I made about all chaos and war that goes on in our world. And especially the brave soldiers who are fighting for their lives and the lives of their loved ones. To enlist for war requires a real strong and brave soul. I formed these feelings in the form of an old farmer defending his assets with a battle axe. For me personally this type of weaponry had some kind of soul and dedication attached to it. Nowadays the weaponry has reduced to bullet shooting guns resulting in the useless ending of lives in mere seconds.
